Purpose

 

Equipment ASS-C-DX is designed to provide simplex loudspeaker communication in meetings networks, businesses and organizations of various ministries and departments.

 

At the organization of meeting in simplex mode the principle - "one of the participants speaks - the others listen" is implemented to the right of interruption of any of the participants in the meeting by a head.

 

It is possible to work on standard voice channels on a two-wire lines and low frequency digital channels, organized in networks of communication between the participants of the meetings that are in studio and offices, according to the principle one of the participants speaks - the others listen" to the right of interruption of any of the participants in the meeting by a head.

 

Content of equipment

 

·         Switching station is designed to pair channels (lines) and establish connections with facilities and organize transit connections in the meetings (based on switching system "MiniCom-DX-500.ZHT").

·         Equipment of Conference communication operator workstation (OWS) used for manual control and monitoring of the operation of meetings communication equipment (network) in preparation and conduction of the meeting.

 

OWS includes:

 

·         Monitoring and control board (based on a PC and touch-screen monitor; Touch-Screen type monitor).

·         Service connection board (Optiset digital control).

·         Meeting control unit (speaker system).

 

Terminal equipment:

 

• * Studio equipment designed to provide loud-speaking conversation of participants.

• * User meetings communication unit to work on 4-wire voice frequency channel.

• * User meetings communication unit to work on 2-wire low frequency channel.

• Service manager workstation equipment.

(Terminal equipment, marked with "*", are not included in the basic structure of ASS-C-DX equipment and is determined by terms of contract.)

 

ASS-C equipment has a mechanism to connect to any existing terminal equipment, which allows speech signal to provide control and interaction with the switching system (in accordance with the terms of reference for the development of ASS-C-DX equipment).

 

Capabilities

 

According to the requirements of the Terms of Reference for the development of meetings communications equipment ASS-C-DX and the needs of the organization of conference calls and meetings on road and departmental level have the following features:

 

·         Work on standard voice channels on a two-wire lines and low frequency digital channels, organized in networks of communication between the participants of the meetings that are in studios or offices.

·         Generation of dual-frequency code of ASS-C-DX equipment in selective communication line with their direct inclusion in the meetings communications equipment from the meetings communications operator (mechanics) workstation.

·         Reference to the existing circuits, built in OTC network, with the capability to call any subscriber of substation, line-path and other forms of communication and their inclusion in the meeting.

·         Equipment of service manager workstations with terminal devices (OPTISET board) allows to organize and to carry out created in advance (defined list of participants) meetings without meetings communication operator (mechanics) for inclusion in the meeting directly from workstations.

·         Two levels of "interruption" in the signal system of backward management.

·         Reference, calling and inclusion in the meeting of any CTC communication network subscribers.

·         Simultaneous organization and conduction of multiple (up to 20) simultaneous meetings in the automatic mode.

·         The possibility of equipment of several (up to 3) meetings communication operator workstations (mechanics) within one ASS-C-DX system.

Option # 1 - number of participants in meeting is up to 30:

 

1.1 ("Standard" configuration):

 

·         DX-500S-BX 500.

·         Organization of N meetings (up to 20) (10 simultaneous meetings).

·         Total number of participants in meeting is 30 (2E1 on external station).

·         Inclusion of up to 256 ports (including up to 64 ports of VF channels, 8 (32) ports of UpN).

·         128 (256) local / boards / speaker-ports.

·         X local ports / boards + up to 32 (64) VF channels.

 

Option # 2 - number of participants in meeting is up to 60:

Features:

 

·         Organization of N meetings (up to 20) (10 simultaneous meetings).

·         Total number of participants in meeting is 60 (no external digital lines at station with 1 DX-500M-PCM-4 or with 8 E1 to external stations with 4 DX-500M-PCM-4).

·         Inclusion of up to 512 analog ports (including up to 128 ports VF channels).

·         512 local / boards / speaker-ports.

·         X local ports / boards / up to 128 VF channels.

 

One ASS-C-DX system:

 

·         Conduct a conversation of an operator with any of the participants without disturbing a general meeting.

·         Display the length of stay of participant in the meeting on OWS.

·         Has a function "claim the floor", a participant enters a code combination with TU and thereby notifies the operator on the intention to speak further.

·         Removal or inclusion of any participant in the meeting.

·         OWS visual monitoring of noise introduced by the participants in the meeting.

·         Online volume control performance of the participants of the meeting.

·         Organization of OWS with IP-based networks.
